The name Damauli was formed by Daipaynaya. Damauli is also
called the birth place of Daipyan sage.
There are many temples, cave, river in this city. It is a
veligious city. Ther are many temple like Panchamandir chhabdibarahi and rivers
like shatytaoti shukla, magdi ect and caves like vyasgufa parasar gufaetc.
Damauli is the headhunter of Tanahun district . It is also called that the
vyassaga becam heaven in this place. Many administration work are done here. It
is also municipality. There are many adminastral office. There is one court
also. It is very beautiful. We can see the cave of paraasar sage here it is
seen like it is in the of maanoc parbat.
In ancient period the head quarter of Tanahun was Bandipur
but later it becam Damuli. Daamuli lies in Gandaki Zone. We can get our
citizenship certificate from Damauli vyas worshipped here.
